If you want to have a flocked Christmas tree, here are some tips and tricks to create that perfect and natural look.  First of all, read the safety precautions that are indicated on the can of flocking.  Note that there are some Christmas strands that are not that compatible with flocking and may produce high heat which can be dangerous.  Next, when flocking a tree, make sure that you do it outside the house when there is little wind.  Always wear protective goggles and a mask to cover your nose and mouth while using flocking.  Also, when using a live Christmas tree, make sure that you flock your tree only after it has been put up on a stand as it will take about two days for the branches to relax to its normal height.  Begin flocking at the top of the tree with just a gentle spray and work your way down using a back and forth motion.  There is no need to spray flocking under the branches as this will not look natural.  Once you are done spraying the entire tree with flocking, allow the whole tree to dry before you place it inside your house.
